Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't all my shipping costs match to orders right away?
Marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart don't release an order's details to connected apps until the order settleson their side — for Amazon that's tied to its payment cycle, which can take up to about two weeks. Your shipping tool (for example, Veeqo) reports a label's cost the moment you ship, so a shipping cost often arrives before the order it belongs to.
When that happens, the charge waits in Finances → Shipping matchingunder "Needs matching." It connects to its order automatically once the marketplace settles the order, and you can press Re-match on that page to re-check at any time. Nothing is lost — the cost is applied to the order as soon as the order becomes available.
How does SellerAide calculate my profit?
Your net profit is your revenue minus marketplace fees, refunds, cost of goods, and operating expenses, blended across every connected channel. The figures come from the actual orders and fees each marketplace reports, plus the costs and expenses you record — not estimates.
How does cost of goods get assigned to my sales?
You record what you paid for inventory (upload a receipt or enter a purchase), which creates cost layers for a product. You map your sold listings to that product, and SellerAide allocates cost to each sale oldest-cost-first (FIFO) as orders are settled. The more of your catalog you map and cost, the more complete your profit picture becomes.
How often does my data update?
Connected accounts sync once a day, and you can trigger a sync on demand from your dashboards. Keep in mind some marketplace data — orders and fees in particular — only becomes available after the order settles on the marketplace (see the matching question above), so very recent orders may take time to appear.
Which marketplaces does SellerAide support?
SellerAide works with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, and Shopify, and matches shipping costs from tools like Veeqo. You can connect each channel in Settings → Connections.
Is my data private?
Yes. We never sell your data, and we don't store buyer names or addresses for accounting — only the order, product, and financial details needed to compute your profit. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
